Right before we started the hike, we went up to the top of a mountain for some inspiration. (There were steps leading to the point, we didnt' have to hike that too!)
Here I am in the jungle.
Doesn't Jack look like a professional hiker?
He's still a child at heart and likes to play and explore in the dirt though. haha
Ahhhhh...the beach!
Yes, I am in the middle of the ocean!
A crooked palm tree.
The palm tree already had J+A in a heart carved on it!!!! Awww it was our destiny to find it.
I found a little hut on the beach.
By the end of the hike, we were sweating and exhausted!
On Sunday we went to the beach and then came back and made some pina coladas and steak stir fry for dinner. I am proud to say that I ate steak for the first time in many years. I didn't LOVE it, but I didn't hate it so I'm trying. Jack also enjoyed his corona!
After dinner we rode our bikes down to the beach to watch the sunset.
It really was a beautiful night out!
We had a really nice weekend and I am happy to say that we are both really enjoying our new life here together :)

Don't have kids while you're there cause it will RUIN IT ALL!! haha. You're brave to go hiking through the jungle! There was no way no how I was going to do that!! Glad you're having a nice 'really extended honeymoon!' haha
ReplyDeleteCool pics, little neice. This is your Uncle Buck. I am glad you are enjoying your lives together in Guam. Heike and I think Alfie is the cutest little bugger.
ReplyDeleteKeep in touch. Uncle Buck!
