Weekend Recap

This past Saturday after Jack got off of work we went on a hiking adventure. We started off in the mountains, went through the jungle, then ended up at the beach. The scenery was beautiful and it was a lot of fun. The beach was very secluded and at one point we both commented on how nice and quiet it was. No one was in sight. It's hard to tell but i'd say that we hiked about 5 miles. It was well worth it.

Right before we started the hike, we went up to the top of a mountain for some inspiration. (There were steps leading to the point, we didnt' have to hike that too!)

He's still a child at heart and likes to play and explore in the dirt though. haha

By the end of the hike, we were sweating and exhausted!


On Sunday we went to the beach and then came back and made some pina coladas and steak stir fry for dinner. I am proud to say that I ate steak for the first time in many years. I didn't LOVE it, but I didn't hate it so I'm trying. Jack also enjoyed his corona!

After dinner we rode our bikes down to the beach to watch the sunset.

It really was a beautiful night out!


We had a really nice weekend and I am happy to say that we are both really enjoying our new life here together :)
