Waterfall Valley

Two weekends ago we decided to take a hike to some waterfalls. It was nice to get outside and see some parts of Guam that are still mysterious to me. It was hot and definitely tiring, but luckily more bearable this time since we were prepared with bug spray. We also stopped at an overlook on the way to get some good scenic photos.

This is what we saw. Not too shabby.

Thank goodness for automatic timers.

Then we started our hike to the waterfalls. It is so quiet and peaceful in the jungle...almost to the point that it gets scary.

We hit our first baby waterfall.

Then we reached another waterfall where Jack was very quick to just jump right off.

I on the other hand had to contemplate my jump.

I finally got the courage.

And then I had to climb back up.

We also found a little cave hidden in the baby waterfall. It was creepy going in because we didn't know what kind of sea creatures would be hiding in there. (Look hard to see me).

Jack getting ready to jump again.

And there he goes...

We had a fun day together :)
