NEW YORK! We got the unofficial word this weekend and will hopefully have the official paperwork in hand within the next few months. We are very happy with this news and are beyond thrilled at the thought of being close to family and friends again. Being in driving distance of PA is going to be amazing. From the breezy island life to the snowy winters of upstate NY, we sure are in for some changes. Can't wait to find out more info :)
*UPDATE- it was definitely an unofficial word haha. Reminds me how quickly things can change in the Navy. We now have no idea what is going on or where we are going. Taking it day by day and hoping for the best :) Will update as soon as we hear anything new.
perhaps we will be neighbors! But I won't know until April-ish :)
