Today is Alfie's 2nd Birthday! My little baby boy is all grown up. I still remember when we went to look at him at the breeder's house, he was such a sweet little puppy. He rolled right over onto his tummy for me to scratch his belly. He was a little ball of fur. While I was definitely on the fence about getting a dog, as soon as I saw him I of course fell completely in love and just had to have him. He has brought so much joy to our lives and has helped us to become a family when we didn't have one around. I wouldn't trade him for the world :)

I would have made him a cake for his birthday like I did last year, but as of last week he is on a strict diet by order of his doctor. Poor little chubber is almost 10 pounds HAHA! So instead he chomped on a carrot.
