This is from Jack's first deployment in 2006. He was on a Mediterranean cruise but it was extra stressful because of some things going on in the world at the time. That deployment was such a huge hurdle for us to overcome. We definitely overcame it together and stronger than ever because soon after he got home we got engaged :) I love this picture because it was one of the first ones that he sent me of him and his new friends. I was so happy that he met such great people that helped keep him sane and make the time go faster.
