And So it Begins

Last week we got our OFFICIAL orders to New York. We didn't expect it to happen so soon (c'mon it's the Navy) so I was pleasantly surprised to see them in my inbox one morning. With this news, I had to officially resign my position at work today. This was very bittersweet for me. While I am certainly ready and excited to get back stateside, I am sad to leave my job and co-workers. My job is great - the school is down the road from my house, the hours are great, and I have summers off. Can it get any better than that? I don't think so! So now with our impending move I am about to start my first of many countdowns. Countdown till my last day of work = 14 days! And so the moving process begins and the journey as a military wife continues.
