Jack got the day off on Friday so we took advantage and hiked Spanish Steps. It's on base and we've been wanting to do it ever since we moved here. Spanish Steps is a steep trail down a cliff that leads you through the jungle and to the beach. We had to hold on to a rope to help us get down. It was scary but fun! Once we got to the beach we went snorkeling but unfortunately the tide was too strong and we were getting thrown all over the place. Luckily, after a tough swim we got back to shore safely. We were then able to relax in some calmer water. A view from the top. The rope leading down the cliff. Almost there... AHHHHHHH :) Time to go back up! And this is the cutie patootie we got to come home to!
I have a wonderful family and am married to the most amazing man in the world. He is in the Navy and we are currently stationed on the beautiful island of Guam. I made this blog so our family and friends could keep up with us while we are living here for the next few years. We miss everyone back home in PA but luckily, our two long haired Chihuahuas, Alfie and Lucy, help to keep us company. I feel so blessed and all in all, life is good.
